Bane for the British, Boon for the Arabs: Cardiff weather.

The old adage of one man’s medicine being another’s poison has come true in Cardiff.

The fickle summer weather in Wales with overcast days, cool sea breezes and showers that has been the bane for long complaining British tourists is now turning to be a boon for sun-scorched fugitives from Abu Dhabi’s relentless dry heat.

The Arabs like rain. They love the tranquility in Wales. They like to go to the green parts of Wales, the caves and the rivers.

Despite little official promotion and no direct flights from the Middle East the market for Welsh breaks is showing an upward trend to the extent that some Arabs have even bought Welsh holiday homes.

Cardiff Airport is now trying to persuade an Arab airline to fly direct to South Wales.

Wales is not as overheated and metropolitan as London and has beautiful hills and coast attracting from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for their holidays

Another point of attraction was Cardiff’s abundance of Middle Eastern restaurants.

On an average 4,000 passengers a year fly between Cardiff and the Middle East via Amsterdam, including inbound leisure travellers, students and oil-industry workers, and people feel that though Wales may not grow as a volume market it would surely grow as a quality market for the wealthy Arab tourists.

The Cardiff airport car parking is maintained by NCP and the tariff can only be obtained by quote online. There is one short stay car park and two long stay car parks.

New World adventure: USA car hire

From Jack Kerouac’s On the Road to Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited, cross-country road travel has an almost mythical status in the United States. USA car hire might be the way of bringing to life some of that sense of adventure and freedom to you, too. What’s to tempt you?

• Though a statement of the seemingly obvious, it’s a huge country;

• Though coast to coast (Atlantic to Pacific, or vice versa) journeys might have an epic quality to them, there are literally thousands of other – possibly shorter – itineraries that may prove just as fascinating, covering as much variety and adventure;

• If you want to explore the many sights, sounds and smells of everything around you, one of the best ways to travel may be offered by USA car hire;Book Turkey Hotels Make instant secure online booking for selected hotels throughout Turkey.

• A hire car – or simply, rental, since you’ll soon start speaking the American – gives you the freedom of the road, to travel where you want and when you want;

• Whether you’re planning on travelling from A to B or intend a circular route, the freedom of your own car to drive leaves all of the options open to you;

• If you want to leave the highway and kick up the dust along quieter back roads, the choice is yours;

• If you stumble across a location that bears closer investigation or some previously unmarked attraction, the choice is yours to pay it a visit;

• You might choose to keep to your itinerary and schedule – or you may just tear it up – once again, the choice is all yours;

• It’s the kind of freedom that is almost a by-word for all things American – freedom is just another word for USA car hire, you might say;

• What’s likely to come as equally good news, moreover, is the fact that it might mean Cheap car hire, too;

• Allowing for the fact that one person’s “cheap” might seem either more or less expensive to someone else, car rentals in the US may be found at surprisingly affordable rates;

• One of the ways you may help to make sure of getting the most competitive rate available is to spend just a little time before you go comparing deals and establishing just what type of vehicle you want, for how long, and at a price that suits you;

• Using online resources to shop around in this fashion might help to ensure that you identify the USA car hire deal that is most appropriate to your needs, gives you the on-road freedom that you crave, and comes at an acceptable price.
